For merchants
Account verification (KYC)
What you need to do to go live.
Kasera Pay verifies individuals and companies (PT, CV and other legal entities). Everything is filled in on the onboarding page in three steps, and our team reviews it by hand.
The three steps and what each asks for
| 1. Basic verification | Email and WhatsApp number, each with a 6-digit code. Enough to open the dashboard, test everything in Sandbox and accept payments within the limit below. |
|---|---|
| 2. Personal KYC | The owner's KTP photo and selfie, full name and NIK as on the KTP, place and date of birth, and the KTP address. Saved when you continue, so a reload does not ask again. |
| 3. Business KYC | Business type (individual or company), the name buyers see, the activity, at least one place you sell (website, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Shopee, Tokopedia or other), a sentence or two on how you will use Kasera Pay, and the payout bank account. |
| Company (PT/CV) extras | The legal entity name as on the deed, plus four documents: SK Pendirian, SK Pernyataan, NPWP Perusahaan and NIB. The payout account must be in the company's name. The owner's KTP and selfie are still required. |
| Limit before approval | 10 payment requests and Rp1,000,000 in total, accumulated, not a daily cap. |
| File format | KTP photo and selfie: JPEG, PNG or WebP, at most 5 MB each, compressed automatically when you upload. Company documents: a photo or a PDF, at most 10 MB each. |
| Review time | The receipt email says a review usually takes 1–2 working days. It is an estimate, not a guarantee. |
| Who can submit | Only the account owner. Team members see the status but cannot fill in the form. |

How to get verified
- Basic verification: enter the 6-digit code sent to your email, then the code sent to your WhatsApp number. The page also shows how Kasera Pay works: verify, make a payment link or QRIS, the buyer pays, the money settles to your bank.
- You can now accept payments within the limit above. "I'll do this later" is fine. It only postpones payouts.
- Personal KYC: take the KTP photo and the selfie (the card fills in your name and NIK, check them), add your birth details and KTP address, then tap "Continue to business details". This step is saved.
- Business KYC: pick Individual or Company at the top. Name your business, pick its activity, add the places you sell with their type, and write how you will use Kasera Pay. A company also enters its legal name and uploads the four documents. Then set the payout account.
- Tick the consent box and tap "Submit for review". We email a receipt and the status becomes "Application received", then "Under review".
- Our team opens the places you sell, checks the identity (and the company documents) and verifies the payout account. An application cannot be approved while the bank account is still unverified.
- Approved: you get the email "Akun Kasera Pay Anda sudah aktif" (your account is active) and payouts run on your schedule. Rejected: you get an email with the reviewer's reason, fix it and submit again.
What stays locked until approval
| Basic only | Approved | |
|---|---|---|
| Accept payments | Yes, up to 10 requests and Rp1,000,000 in total | Yes, no daily limit |
| Payouts to your bank | No. Money stays safe in your balance | Yes, once the payout account is verified |
| Change identity details, KTP photo or selfie | Yes, with “Edit” on the business step, until the application is sent | No, identity and documents are frozen |
| Change company documents | Yes, re-upload replaces the file | No, documents are frozen |
| Change payout account | Yes, until it is verified and the application is sent | Only through halo@kasera.id |
How the limit before approval is counted:
- 10 requests: every payment request counts, except canceled ones.
- Rp1,000,000: only payments that are paid or still waiting to be paid. Expired requests don't count.
- Sandbox transactions never count.
Where you sell, and why we ask
The links are the first thing our reviewer opens: they show what you sell and where buyers find you, and they decide the activity category. Add every place you sell, at least one: a website, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, a Shopee or Tokopedia store, or something else. Each link has a type picker beside it. The sentence on how you will use Kasera Pay (for example, “send a payment link on WhatsApp once an order comes in”) speeds up the review and lets us suggest the right features.
Business name and companies
The business name buyers see may not contain a legal entity type: PT, CV, Firma, Fa, Yayasan, UD, Koperasi, Perseroan, Persekutuan, Perkumpulan or Tbk, with or without dots. The dashboard refuses such a name when you create or rename a business. Use the name your buyers know, such as “Salon Maju Jaya”. A company enters its legal name separately, as it appears on the deed.
Registering a company: pick “Company (PT/CV)” at the top of the business step, enter the legal entity name and upload SK Pendirian, SK Pernyataan, NPWP Perusahaan and NIB, as photos or PDFs. The payout account must be in the company's name: the holder is matched against the legal name, and the bank dropping the “PT” is fine. The owner submitting the application is still verified with their own KTP and selfie. Questions: halo@kasera.id.
Adding a second business
Use “+ Create new merchant” in the merchant switcher. Your email and phone number must already be verified, and one account can own up to 5 businesses. Your identity and documents are reused, so the form opens on the business step with “Identity details saved” and does not ask for your KTP again. Each new business is still submitted and reviewed on its own, with its own links, use case and payout account, and has its own 10-request / Rp1,000,000 limit until it is approved.
